No I have not. I Have just had no time to really work on it. I have been working long hours over night at work and I have been sleeping during the day. I have three days off this weekend though and I will really put my ass in gear.

The creation goes on
After weeks of hard work where I haven´t had the nerve on Civ2 creating I´m back again to work on!
Well fellows, my problems are: I need names of the birdges. It won´t be nice if all the 7-8 bridges along the main road are called Road Bridge ....
Anyone an idea or two???

Maybe name the bridges after the rivers they span:
For example, call the bridge over the Dommel Canal, the "Dommel Bridge".
I'm looking forward to this scenario.
This map shows the intent of Operation Market Garden. 'Market' was the code name for the airborne actions, and 'Garden' was the code name for the ground troops. The 1st Allied Airborne Corps was set up in August 1944 and consisted of the American 18th Airborne Corps (82nd and 101st Airborne divisions) and the British 1st Airborne Division. Later the Polish 1st Parachute Brigade was added. The Airborne Corps’ job was to clear the way for the British XXX (30th) Corps situated near the Belgian city of Neerpelt (number on the map).
The U.S. 101st Airborne Division had its drop zone near Eindhoven, Best, Son, St-Oedenrode and Veghel. The 101st had to secure the bridge over the Wilhelmina canal in Son, the bridge over the Dommel in St-Oedenrode and the bridges over the Aa and Zuid-Willemsvaart canal near Veghel. The bridges over the Maas at Grave and the Waal at Nijmegen were the targets of the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division; they were dropped near Groesbeek and Overasselt. Finally, the British 1st Airborne Division had to secure the bridge over the Rhine at Arnhem. All this led to a small corridor, so that the British XXX Corps could make their advance towards Arnhem.
Both the XII (12th Corps, number on the map) and the VIII Corps (8th Corps, number on the map) were to give side cover to the advancing XXX Corps. This corridor (the yellow route on the map) was named 'Hell's Highway' because this route was very poor. Sometimes as narrow as one road!
Arnhem was the main target of Operation Market Garden because it was a good place from where the Ruhr could be assaulted. Also attacking the Ruhr out of Arnhem would bypass the Siegfried line, (see map on previous page) situated near the border in southwest Germany. From Arnhem the Allies could also continue the liberation of the Netherlands, such as the advance to the IJsselmeer lake.
When Montgomery revealed his plan to General Brereton and General Browning, Browning asked how long it would take for the tanks to reach Arnhem. "Two days" answered Montgomery. "We can hold it for four days" replied Browning, and then he added, "although I think we could go a bridge too far", not knowing how right he was.

So what do you guys think? In all honesty it only took me about 45 minutes. The rest of the time was spent sitting staring at my monitor wondering where the hell to start. My first unit in a year and I had designer's block. If you want it camo though you are on your own. I have never been very good at that.

You can do whatever you want with it. Even feel free to modify it if you think you can improve upon it.

That is not an Jagdpanzer IV/70 (aka "Lang") but an JagdPanzer 38(t) Hetzer...
But hold on.
Spader saves the day. I made this one a "week?" ago:
here you can find info about the IV/70:
http://www.achtungpanzer.com/pz10.htm#jagd4
You might notice that the panzers on that page doesnt have "side-armor-at-the-wheels" as mine has... but it sure were used...

The scenario was about the siege of Sevastopol back in 1942 and has been released about one hour ago.
And now back to Market Garden: I made some graphical updates for the units.gif.

Thanks for the advice, Gareth. I replaced my Sdkfz. 234/2 Puma with the one Daily Danger made and recoloured it.

Ok, some updates:
* The US Airborne troops will receive the M8 75mm Pack Howitzer as additional unit.
* An own Polish Paratrooper unit will be added to the unis.gif.
* I´m going to give the Germans some 4x2cm AA Guns as well as some 8,8cm pieces.
* I will also include some Dutch Civilians.
That´s the update for the units, now for the gameplay:
* I thought long times about how to represent the mis-dropped supplies. First I created some "Drop Zone" terrain and now I think I can present a solution to this problem: Each time some supplies are dropped I will create via the events.txt a german "Supply" (or called whatever else) unit on some of these drop zones as well as german defenders.
Now the Human Player can decide to go after these supplies (which will cause heavy fighting, you can be sure) or not. The idea is to defeat the german defenders and attack the supply unit in order to receive some additional troops or whatever.
Any other suggestions, ideas, critics, comments ...?

I think that is a very good way to represent the mis-dropped supplies. But what will the player gain if they attack the supplies? Just more troops?

Anyone some ideas HOW the uniform of Sosabowski´s paratroopers looked like?
And: Was there a special Polish Paratrooper Unit Sign?

And some edited unit shields for now. Feel free to use them too if you like.
Is the brighter version of the Polish Parachute Brigade better or the darker one?

Same as UK paras: maroon beret, khaki battledress and a camouflaged denison smock. The difference lay in the incorporation of the Polish eagle in the cap badge. I'll scout out some pics.
