Relations with other Regions
Just wondering, what is Apolyton's relational stance in diplomatic terms with the other nations in Nation States, such as that of
ACF islands?
Hispanica?
or some of the other large nations?
Just so that we know for the future of role-playing
---
PS [do most of them do their roleplaying on the official message board- or do you think that we could pry them off it to discuss here ... or would that not be a good idea ]

There were some hostilities with the CFC Region, so both the Kingdom of Wine and The FIR have started an organized spy netwrok in said region.
But they are now mush smaller than us, and do not rapresent a threat to Apolytonian security, anyway since the Kingdom of Wine is bordering that region, we are forced to keep a very high military force.
As for other regions you should ask Guardinia

...which Guardian would have done several days ago if he hadn't been so busy lately...
To the best of my knowledge, we don't seem to have much of a diplomatic network involving other regions at this time. A few weeks ago, we were contacted by the United Dragon Realms, who requested assistance in a regional conflict involving their allies North Alerica and the alleged aggressor USSR.
After investigating the matter for several days, Guardinia concluded that we could not see any good guys on either side, and consequently refused to take sides in this conflict, but offered to act as mediators and/or peacekeepers if needed.
We have heard not a word from any of these regions since then.
A couple of weeks ago, the delegate of Airstrip One contacted us and offered an alliance. Once again, Guardinia moved to investigate the matter and found that Airstrip One "and her allies" had just declared war on France, apparently for no particular reason other than "because we hate you". We informed Airstrip One that things didn't look too good for them, then we contacted the delegate of France and offered to discuss the terms of a possible alliance.
To this day, we have not heard another word from either of these regions.
Last week, we received a telegram from the Republic of EIL, Delegate of 6 North, containing a bunch of seemingly random ramblings about "declaring a state of war and making provisions to prosecute the same". We checked their background and found that their region contained a puny 16 nations, mostly small ones at that. Then we sent a reply along the lines of "What the hell do you sad bunch of plonkers think you're doing?!? Stand down now or you'll be likely to get hurt and have your little faces all messed up beyond repair."
To which they replied something like "Bring it on, you yellow-bellied bastards!"
We did not take this seriously, and we haven't heard another word from 6 North either.
For the time being, that's pretty much what I have on relations with other regions.

I'll be glad to inform you as soon as preliminary talks get underway. Right now, Iguana Fire's foreign minister and the foreign minister of one of The Bronx's nations, the Empire of Ecks are getting acquainted.
Possible trade agreements may be discussed eventually.
However, when I checked their postboard originally, they did not have insulting messages posted- since then, I have examined their board and frankly to say, am disgusted.
Iguana Fire may wish to have nothing to do with this nation and its region of 14 others... but the Senate is still deliberating.

Jo'Wine - Apolytonian Security.. sounds something related to Mussolini at best

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. LOL
Could be because I am a supporter of AN
Anyway I'm one of the few nations bordering CFC, and if I notice some major arm buildup there, I would do a pre-emptive strike to protect the lives of the Apolytonians
(dosn't this sounds like Gorge W?)
j/k
OOC: yes.. CFC is civfanatics region

Alecrast has substantial economic interests in the BMGf region through its close ally the Federation of Bulbagarden. That region's only 21 nations large and shrinking however, though it's slowly starting to unify after a lot of petty disputes over who should be its delegate. It's even further developed than we are on that score, actually having formal elections on the issue.

Yes, it would be a great benefit to apolyton if we could send representatives to other regions for diplomatic reasons. It would give us a greater sense of legitimacy.
