civ 3 editor problem
i'm using the very first version, so no patches or anything.
whenever i edit/create a scenario and change the rules even a little bit, the science screen goes to pot when i try to play.
its all long grey lines and you cant select a scientific advance if you want to.
no matter how small the change, the second i edit the rules it all goes wrong.
anyone?

Just download patch 1.29f, it doesn't cost you anything. The original editor was so long ago, and so limited in comparison that you shouldn't even bother.

All you need is a cheap modem for the PC, the dealers are practically giving them away these days.

CIvIII edit errpr
Hi,
I am running ver 1.21 (i didn't like the lack of editability 1.29 has), and when I try to edit anything I get the following error:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Abnormal Termination
Anyone have a clue or some help????

You don't know anyone that lives close to you who has internet acces and a cd burner (you could split the files over severall floppy's, but.. pfff )
Maybe someone from Apolyton lives close enough to burn it on a CD and send it to by postal order.
just an idea.
