So that we all know of this....
To be fair to all players currently in our game, this thread has been posted in the PTW Forum...a definate bug that can hurt our current game:
http://apolyton.net/forums/showthrea...threadid=77981
How do we address this?

Is this proofed? I think we should at least all agree not to use it should we ever come so far!

This certainly is a bad one..., on the other hand, using it is plain cheating, so I guess we can all trust one another not to use it.

Wow! Definately needs fixed.
But don't MP games that start in one version continue to follow that version even if everybody updates?

Amazing... the bug itself is rather small, and can be fixed very easily, but the effects of it if you would be willing to spend time with it...

We have used this to finish the Manhattan Project and are using it in all of our cities to build nuclear weapons.
Lux doesn't stand a chance...........

G.F. don't you know? You don't need a nuke to obliterate their citys just have a swordsman come close to the city and puff all that's left is a piece of rubble. It happened twice already! Never become citizen of Lux you'll have to burn your home then.

Well, as mentioned earlier, if a patch is released fixing the mobilization bug (not the burn-and-run bug), I'm not sure if the "patch" can be applied to a currently running game. Worse case scenario I guess would be having us start all over. Of course, some teams might not mind this...
But we have a lot of time before we even get close to nationalism.

According to WarpStorm (in the main PTW Forum), a patch to fix this bug will hopefully not effect the stabilization of previously saved games. WS mentioned that, in the past, he has patched unpatched saved games with no problem - so there is hope.

For anyone who doesn't know: WarpStorm is one of the playtesters on PTW, so his opinion on this can be trusted slightly more than the average poster around here.

There have been minor problems with saves, allthough they usually involded the AI.
(trade prices getting scr*wed up, things like that)
