CTG, welcome back!! I don't think your time restriction is too bad. Shouldn't be a problem. But to ask if you missed anything while you were gone is the understatement of the millenium!!
Fergus, my guess is conquest unless the far reaches of the map are unreachable by 2020. That shouldn't be a problem as far as I can tell. Go get 'em!

I would suggest then that we bypass Maud'Dib for the time being and proceed to Andemagne. I think he's still alive and well. But if we do that, you might want to send an email (besides this announcement) to Maud'Dib telling him of our plans so he doesn't play to no avail.

I haven't got the file because my e-mail is messed up. I should be able to get it later today. Finally got my internet connection back at the house too!!!
Anyway, I'll hopefully report tonight with the results!
P.S. Sorry...It seems like when it comes to my turn my e-mail goes down.

Well I finished up the game and sent it to Bohlen.
Almost destroyed the Japs. Except for the island of Japan and their cities on Austriala. Also took aver a Souix city and could get another one. Built a city in South America and have a few units there exploring and getting huts. Got a few techs on the way.
Good Luck!!!!!

Game has been sent to Fergus.
Some highlights from my round:
-----------------------------------------
Machine Tools and The Corporation Discovered.
Big Mound Captured (Explosives gained)
Near-The-Tip Founded
Figo Founded
Hearing Founded
Bynot Founded
Osaka Captured
Big Mound lost; Sioux take Machine tools (sorry about that guys...I got a little stupid.)
Slim Buttes captured
Kyoto captured
--------------------------------
Big Mound is ready to be taken again, so go for it Fergus. We are near the end of this one. The Japanese are about to fall and the Sioux will soon follow!

Thanks, kc. Now I really feel horrible. I waited one turn too long to rush build city walls. I had everything under control until 5 Sioux calvary came out of nowhere just as my walls were about to go up. I was too busy with prparing for the Japanese invasion and I made a mistake.
Never fear, though. That city is there for the taking, and so is the rest of the evil Sioux empire.

I have received the game. Work is somewhat all consuming at the moment, so it is going to have to wait until the weekend. I hope to send it out by Saturday early pm, GMT.
You never know, I might even get Big Mound back. I am also looking forward to increasing the number of eccentric city names.

Game sent to Drake Tues 1330 GMT. Sorry for the delay.
Vast armies have been mobilised from barracks and are being deployed to mount a major offensive on two fronts against the Sioux. Vet Spies and calvalry might polish them off pretty soon, we have about three boatloads of horsies ready to cross the pacific.
Big Mound destroyed in vicious fighting. Washington captured, treasury improved somewhat. Electronics discovered, Refining imminent, Hoover Dam in the offing.
Interesting to see how much the game had changed, and what different playing styles there are. I have never seen a reputation at Atrocious before - clearly there are things I could be trying that are not currently in the game plan!
Good luck Drake.

Game sent to Scouse......
Highlights:
Conquered Cedar Creek, Stony Lake and Bear Paw in the americas and founded a few new cities there too.
Completed the dam.
Built a bunch of new cities in the homeland.
Military is swelling to ridiculous size. It's only a matter of time before America is ours and I'm sure that Australia's Japanese citizens will soon burn as well.
Good Luck Scouse.........I have all the confidence that this will be my last session, as I'm quite certain that this game won't last until 1950....

Thanks drake - you made it very easy for us!
----------------------
1863 - We have no money - we have Bach & Mike and 85 cities not to mention 29 Temples and 3 Colosseums -guess what we intend! and quickly! It took two brave young spies, but The Bighorns walls are down! The Bighorn is ours with 205g and three wonders (Tower, Suffrage & Smith's) - Sioux capital moves to Kildeer - first Spy takes down the walls and escapes! Kildeer falls giving another 107g; Tlatelolco bought for 800g; Three Forks falls to Artillery; Destroyed courthouses and colosseums in remaining Sioux cities for cheap bys next round. Dead Buffalo - found and bought! The Grand Admiral insists on staying commie - drat!!!
1864 - Tenochtitlan (Pyramids) and Teotihuacan come at a bargain 500g for the pair. The sioux are no more
There does not seem to be much of Japan down under - Spy despatched with evil intent!
1868 - Matsuyama bought
1869 - Sapporo falls like the Cherry Blossoms
------------------ the world is ours ------------------
Thanks all!
