Who is your favorite Jim Hensen character?
We were watching the Dark Crystal last night (one of my favorites) and I got to thinking how much I loved that movie and some of the characters in it. So I wondered if anyone else liked Jim Hensen or the muppets or if I'm just a child trapped in a womans body?
My list in no particular order:
Jen, Fezgig, Chamberlin, Augra ~ Dark Crystal
Miss Piggy Moi!
Animal
Gonzo
Fozzy
Kermit

I've always liked Fozzy. He didn't have the most personality, I just like his look.
Nothing beat Alf though

Gonzo, for sure. Still have a couple of his big episodes on tape. The ones with Lola Falana and Madeline Kahn.
Still, Animal and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew are fun too.
I really wish his (non-movie) stuff would get a decent DVD treatment. I know the Muppet Show is coming out on DVD in those "best of" collections I hate so much. But I haven't heard anything about Fraggle Rock or The Storyteller.

He is on Farscape... probably the best show from Henson Productions. While the SF channel has not picked up the 5th season, there will probably be a movie in the future. The 4th season is now almost over.
sigh...

Miss Piggy (One of the best lines ever. She was co-hosting the Oscars with Johnny Carson and complaining that she hadn't been nominated. When Carson tried to calm her , she asked, "Don't you think I'm Oscar material?" Carson replied, "Well, Oscar Meyer material, sure." )

Jim Henson himself.
He received an honorary Dr. of Fine Arts and spoke at my college graduation (U Md, 1978).
Humans aside, I like Ernie.

I once knew a girl who looked like a REALLY attractive miss piggy...
