Sea City Bug Fix Beta
As most people know after the research of nano-assemblies (the enabling advance of undersea tunnels) the the sea cities uses the graphics of land cities oppose to its repective graphic.
This bug is around for years and now i manged a fix by giving the move bonus to a fake terrain created under the udersea tunnels rather than actually giving to the udersea tunnel.
I tested the fix and it is already a improvement over the current bug.
Still it does work but there is still some bugs i plan to fix before removing the BETA label:
- The land units can still walk over the shallow water, water shelfs and water ridges but they do not get the bonus of udersea tunnel of 1/10 move points they loose a whole move point. So the bonus only works for deep water and volcanoes.
This happens because the game doesnt let me create fake terrain in these terrains so i still have no idea how to fix it.
- The other bug is not from the code but from the game itsel and i want it fixed. As many have noticed the boat can have infinite moves over the undersea tunnel although its movement path clearly shows it was suppose to have limited move points. This will be a quick fix. Probably done very soon.
This fixes only works for the original game. Replacing some of its files. It is not a new modswapper option. Soon i plan to make a fix for the apol mod. But i believe Dale will want to include it.
As usual just unzip inside the Call to Power main folder.

This bug sounds familiar, I think it was fixed with the second patch in CTP1 maybe it was rather the hack patch.

Do all the units in the undersea tunnels die if one is pillaged?
