What are synonmys to the word "show"? HELP!
My )(*&!#&()(&!## history teacher says that the word "show" is unacademic, so instead of using the word 'show' when apropriate I must pick some completley inapropriate word so it is academic!

SO far the ones I am using are:

Reveals
Demonstrates
Makes clear

I need more though........anyone else have any synonyms for show(s)?

Illuminates.

Only the liberal arts could the word "show" be "unacademic."

You can't give the same word as the definition.

We just take the thread in a different direction.

4 more:
denotes, exemplifies, reports, unveils.

Manifests, evinces, exposes, exhibits, are all very good from the list already cited.

*waits for Laz.*
