Newbie question

How do you look at a person's game save files? Everytime I try to look at them, a blank folder comes up.

Are you looking at 'program files/firaxis games/sid meier's alpha centauri/saves'? Try going in from 'my computer' or explorer and see if they're there from outside the game. Disregard if you are running a mac or a Linux box.
