AI keeps resetting research levels
I must be missing something. After every turn the AI resets my research levels. What particular AI do I have to turn off to keep this form happening or is this a bug? I have tried locking but this does not seem to help.
Thanks

As we say in the software trade, it is a feature.

By each of the slider is a little icon that is a lock. have you tried "locking" them. I can't say if this works because I haven't locked 'em - but if you haven't tried it i recommend it.
You may not want to do it though. For example, if your worlds are short on minerals your viceroys will look at your upcoming techs and see if any of them improve mining. If they do then they will want an increase in the school of research (physical) that will get this for them. So I haven't tried locking them myself figuring I want this feature working. They drifted a bit for me but they never drifted more then 3% over the course of my one complete game (300 turns).

In the beginning 5 turns or so, the AI will try to adjust the reserach setting even if you lock them. However, if you consistenly lock them with a value you like. After 5 turns or so, the AI will leave it alone even if you stop locking them.
