Shall we allow everyone to see the save?
There is a discussion thread on this topic, which has come up before in the Civ2 Democracy Game's history. At present, you have to be a Minister to get and view the savegame. The issue has come up again whether to allow all who want to view the save here.
What do you think?
5 day poll, as it would be quite a fundamental change to how we do things.

No... sometimes I fear in the CtPDG someone is peeking at the map. I commend you for keeping it in the government, it's the only safe way.

Shite. Never mind - if you have enough ministers now you don't need to attract any others, do you?

Foriegn Affaris Minister: (Empty)
Historian: (Empty)
also, the Imperial Expansion Minister has been vacant several terms as well, so we do have open spots.

So you DO want to increase interest in the game!
This would be a good way of doing so. One or two of us have said that seeing the save would help. Me certainly, and War4ever I believe.

I already posted along these lines in the other thread.
Whoever wants the foreign affairs ministry is welcome to take the position.

MWIA:
None of the first-time ministers really know what is going on until we get the save.
So don't worry about having to catch up.
We won't hold your unfamiliarity against you.

I know - I don't understand either.
You want me to volunteer for a Government position back in the Demo game I started in and not even have to worry about elections? Hell yes! But not without being able to see what I'm in for by doing so.

Well ,we do distribute the save games at the demo game's at CFC ,and we never had a problem yet with anyone playing forward or any of these things.
So i would say ,why not?
