About Leaders...
In my current game, I noticed when going to the personnel screen to check on my spies, that I suddenly had a leader. How the heck did he show up??. At least in Moo2 you were asked if you would employ him. Not so here...he just popped up out of nowhere
Anyone else had this??

You probably either started the game with the leader (this apparently happens at times), or you missed the note in the SitRep when he/she/it showed up.

Yeah, Stuie, I was thinking along those lines too. Except I didn't know that you could start a game with a leader. Thanks.

Sometimes they just show up. Occassionally you'll get a red notice on the SitRep but sometimes you don't. I hate that because I had three guys sitting on my high council that raised unrest by 5% each. All my colonies started preparing to revolt and I couldn't figure out why until I accidentally clicked the Personnel tab instead of Finance. I've never started with one, though.

You can dismiss leaders you don't like. Just double-click the image and it should dissmiss the leader at the end of the turn.

when you start with a leader, it means that one was randomly placed in your system and you rescued him.
