Hercules, could you describe what sort of crash it was? A lot of bugs are still in SMAC, but if we have a better idea of what hit your hapless PC, maybe we can be of some help.

I think it was insufficient memory left to access Mirc chat for SMACDG game. I got there just couldn't join. Then with low memory everything went slow to Zero.
Frustration more than anything else. SMAC back to normal, game not at fault.
