sas, I've always done precisely that (20+ times in some cases), and it still only 'occasionally' works for me. Anyway, as his ally I'll try and do it; if it doesn't work for me we'll need an outsider.

Jim, i have a few questions about your previous round and save game.
When i used Lazyciv i got alot of "allready built" messages, and numerous messages about improvements that where finished. It didnt make any sense, since the improvements where all "wrong" in my opinion. Like alot of farming and fishing improvements.
So i figured it didnt work, and risked taking a look at your city build que at the end of your last round (the save you posted). And to my complete suprice, it seems you havent made ANY effort in setting the production back to normal. All the improvements that the message stated where allready built last round was correct. It seems you havent bothered to change the production after all
why why why???????
Why should i bother doing this when you're not making any effort in fixing the production at the end of your rounds. Lazyciv can only set the production back to the "setup" you had at the end of your round. And if you dont bother fixing your production there is no point...

WTF? He must have saved, changed the production orders, and then forgotten to save a second time. I've done that before, once or twice.

Ok I looked, and indeed ALL Axis cities are either building city improvements or units that he couldn't possibly have wanted to build (motorized infantry, generic bombers, etc.)
I don't know what Jim's explanation is, but regardless I see three options:
1) Jim changes the production orders in the old file, posts the new file, and we all replay our turns.
2) We play on, and Germany is crippled for another turn.
3) Jim changes the production orders in the old file, posts the new file, and we lazyciv from that. Theoretically that would work (explaining why Xin Yu was worried about the copy/paste function; that there could be abuse), and if it doesn't work Yaroslav or another player could actually edit the Japanese file based on Jim's new orders.

It is as I told you many times: Lazyciv is not working and I donīt know what to do. I always change the production at the very start of playing my turn but when I download the save from Darius my orders have changed and I cannot do anything about it.
Believe me, I never build farming imrpovements as I need soldiers but I canīt do anything about it. It is true I am not building soldiers in cities that have a very low production but I cannot tell you why my production is changed every time I load a saved game & Lazyciv is not working.
I could play on, no question or doubt about that but I think I would have many more units and the Allies would never had the chance to capture so many cities.
Anyway, Iīll play the turn with the 3rd option and change the production orders from the old save.

Ok, I got lazyciv to work properly, here is my turn & sorry for the delay ...
The Allies were once again kicked off European soil but the Führer is wondering how long this would last ...

Dammit, lazyciv wasn't the problem. Load the save you posted on the thread; you didn't even change the production orders in that save. Perhaps you have a file with changed orders in your scenario file, but not here.

With fine, i assume you're saying that the "crappy" production was intentional?

Steph, can you just explain precisely what you did? The file you posted on the thread, from which we all played, had nothing but improvements and crappy units being built in it. Are these what you meant to build? If not, how did you fix it, when your old file didn't have the correct orders?

I understand your question now.
I loaded my old file with the crappy build queue and edited it; then I loaded Dariusī new save file and Lazyciv worked.
