I agree, it was a valiant attempt at trying to be funny, but seriously there was a reason. Pap will know. You can pillage RR's in normal squares. I did that regularly as the Chinese.

I assume everyone knows that you're not allowed to attack Air units with land and sea units. You can only shoot down an aircraft in the air with a Fighter. Bomber is not allowed as well.

The British Empire is gearing up for global warfare.

Europe:

-Air raid on Hamburg, sinking 1 Battleship and 2 Destroyers.

-Brest attacked from sea and from air. The city is no longer defended by german forces.

-Air raid on Oslo, sinking all the ships anchored at Oslo Harbor.

Asia:

-Japanese forces in and around Ambon killed by British divebombers.

-Betty east of Dhaka shot down.

Mediterranean Sea:

-1 German Submarine, 3 Transports, 2 Battleships and 1 Cruiser sunk in several Naval encounters. Remeber to disband the units that is no longer on a ship at sea.

-All the German aircrafts that landed on the airstrip on Malta was shot to pieces on the ground.

Africa:

-German light tank destroyed east of Benghazi.

Leningrad Front
Soviet Armored and Infantry with air support launched an counter-attack on Novgorod. The Germans suffered heavy casaulties during the large battles.

Moscow Front
The Red Army has launched an large counter-attack on the german units stationed near Moscow. Large numbers on Panzers were destroyed. The Germans had large casualties and the Russian suffered too casualties.

Kursk Front
The Russian Air Force has commenced an air raid against German troops stationed near Kursk. Russian Armored divisions launched too some attacks on the units.

Rostov Front
The Russian forces near Rostov launched an small offensive against some german units near the city.

Asia
The Russian Forces mobilize thier defenses.

Japan is on the move:

-Nanning and Hohot captured, thousands of Chinese slaughtered all along the front.

-Rangoon emptied of enemy troops again.

-Palembang, Tarakan, Rabaul, and Wake Island all captured.

-American destroyer sunk northeast of Pearl Harbor.

-American carrier sunk southwest of Pearl Harbor, along with 3 fighter squadrons.

(1) Eastern Front

Army Group South - After days of fierce and bloody street-to-street fighting German forces were able to occupy the city of Rostov, the "Gate of the Caucasus". The Soviet losses are enormous and the Führer congratulated the commanding officer of the 4th Panzer Army, Generaloberst von Hoth to "... these brilliant operations conquering one of the most important cities of this war".

Army Group Center - This month also saw the occupation of the city of Voronez with far fewer combat than the attack of Rostov. Now Moscow´s southern defenses were deeply penetrated by the victorious Wehrmacht .... All in all neither the Red Army nor the Soviet Tanks are a match for the superior German Wehrmacht.

Army Group North - The Soviet Offensive against Novogrod has not been too dangerous. A German counter-offensive banned this threat. Additional to heavy losses on the battlefields the enemy has also lost a cruiser off the coast of Narvik and a Battleship off Leningrad.

(2) Mediterranean Sea

One Battleship, a cruiser and an Aircraft Carrier were sunk near Sicily. Also the last defenders of La Valetta were annihilated. German SPecial Forces are supposed to take the island of Malta in February. Also the rest of the Western Mediterranean Sea has been cleaned from the remnants of the once mighty Royal Navy.

(3) Northern Africa

The German Afrika Korps led by General Rommel began their advance towards Alexandria. Though supplies are low at the moment everybody at the OKW is expecting the situation to become better once Malta is in German hands ....

(4) Atlantic

Nothing to report but the destruction of a US Bomber.

Sick and tired of the Soviet counter-attacks the Führer today ordered that Moscow should be taken next. Despite the harsh Russian winter the Wehrmacht will widen their breakthrough in the Northern Ukraine. If the tanks succeed in pushing further East, then victory will follow.
