But, but, the pen! The pen is, ahem, mightier than the sword! Or the Moisin Nagant for that matter!

True!
Our partisan leaders tell me that a pen stuck in the right crank shaft may make a Panzer grind to a halt!
They actually haven't succeeded yet in doing this, but it's possible, theoretically...

Order of the Red Banner ceremony
Today in a small ceremony marshal H-tower was presented his first millitary medal by members of the stavka and others
He was given the Order of the red banner for his commencement of re-organising the soviet war effort. He is currently on study leave at Perm learning about modern war methods.
We hope that he will return soon and display his medal with pride.

Seems like we are slowing the Krauts.

BUMP!
Now that winter is praticaly upon us I think it would be timely for the Marshal to hand out some medals for the Summer Campaign.
I would like to be the first to nominate Colwyn as a Hero of the Soviet Union for his fantasic performance on the Belorussian front, retaking Minsk to hold of the Axis for another turn and for holding Smolensk and Vitebsk against all of our expectations ensuring the safety of the capital.
Of-course this could all change in the Germans last turn of summer

Duely noted and despite my concerns about my future I do have to admit that I totally agree.
Although other Front Commanders have also done well. Both Yopov's and Henrikov's last minute defense of Leningrad (working together for the betterment of the whole) also need consideration.

while I find it sickening that the Marshal is playing at poltics while discussing giving out the highest decoration possible in the Soviet Union, I cannot fault giving out the medals.
In addition to those already given out,I suggest the Order of the Red Star being given to the NKVD regiment (and their commander Henrik) that cleaned out the ruins of Narva in december 1941. They captured 19 German units I believe!
Also, Greeny should be given the Valiant Labour Medal for his safeguarding of the treasury during these lean months and deciding where the limited funding should go, also he deserves recognition for spurring on the scientists to research needed weapons for the front

Yes comrade some of our citizens dont agree with my spirited and talented defense of the Rodina. For purely political reasons of course. They feel that there power base is being threatened.
Its a shame especially at these trying times.
I shall however fight the Facists to my death! As the Marshall or a private in the Red Army.
My hatred of the Germans will not die and the struggle will continue until ultimate victory.!
