I really do not understand this-Curt posts regulary in these fora and appears to have acess to his PC(unlike me).

The reasons behind his delay are quite unclear.

Sorry guys, I have some grim news.

In order to meet my self-imposed deadlines for my scenario, I have to drop out of the innings here.

Yes, I know, I am a let down, but I am dedicated to CIV2 scenarios and have only so many hours in the day to spare.

Please do not think less of me for this, as I am acting to maximise my proudction of new CIV2 scenarios.

My humble apologies, gentlemen.

I will make it up to you all with some great work.

Bad news:

I am sorry to say, but I am going to have to drop out of this game. Due to me being busy in real-life, I am limited to certain time spent online. I am afraid that it would take too much time for me to play a PBEM. I tried to play the game, but I never had the time.

Again, I am truly sorry to say this, but I think it is for the best of this PBEM.

After all USA and UK operated under a joint command(Eisenhower) during the war, and the game will definitely speed up.

This month the Royal Navy sunk a Cruiser off the North Cape and the war efforts of the USA and the United Kingdom will be coordinated in the Combined Staffs of the Allied Powers.

The British Prime Minister vowed also that Albion will continue the fight until the bitter end ..... of the Fascist Empire and the downfall of the 3rd Reich.

Japanese forces have established Imperial control in central China after furious battles against the Chinese army. Heavy casualties on the enemy side.

The city of Kaifeng has fallen into Japanese control and order has been enforced brutally in the region by the Kempei-tai military police. Many traitors were executed.

Anti-guerilla operations were conducted al over the newlly liberated teritories. The Imperial Airforce proved detrimental in subduing the rebel forces.

Took Bristol! Soon the complete United Kingdom will be subdued by the major German Forces, which are admired by all other nations for their major power and technology.

United States:

This week US President Roosevelt annouced on his weekly nationwide radio broadcast that "a man helps his neighbour once his house is burning". Commentators are sure that the US is going to war with the Axis - sooner or later.

Chief of Staff Gen. Marshall added that the US Navy will now act against any vessel of a country without friendly relations to the US and the other American nations.
Marshall also stated that the US won´t accept any further expansion of the Empire of Japan in the Pacific.

Great Britain:

After days of fierce and bloody combat the Royal Army was able to liberate the city of Bristol from its german oppressors.
The Royal Navy stated that a destroyer - the HMS Marlborough - has sunk a german submarine off the coast of Greenland.

Soviet Move
The Leader of the Soviet Union, Mr. Stalin, has said that he is a bit afraid for a german attack against the great Soviet union.
And that's why he has annouced that if Germany decides to add Large(with this i mean really large) amounts of troops to the Soviet/German border that he will be "forced" to stop diplomatic discussions with Germany.

And he also want them to respect the 1939 Non-Aggression Pact.

Stalin also said that USSR is ready to take refuges from Great Britain, as well as Jews from all Countries in Europe! In the New Modern State of USSR you will get nice living in peace!

War report:

Operations against partizans continue. More than 65.000 Chinese have lost their lives in the campaign of the previous month and more than 30.000 captured, Generall staff claims. City of Kaifeng recaptured.

At the same period Imperial looses amounted in:

2.197 dead
3.221 wounded
2 captured

However the greatest toll has been taken by the valiant Imperial Airforce with more than 32 planes failing to report to their bases.

Diplomatic report:

The U.S threats are ignored. The degenerate yankees should acquire a better feel of their own military potential before challenging Empires with more than 4000 years of glorious military tradition.

BTW have the diplomatic threats any real effect or they are just for flavor?

I mean we are not playing any open game version or anything, are we?

I can communicate with none,and hence declare war, of the civs.
