MoDA Communication: 17th Turn Chat State of Lemuria (1640 BC)
Dear Lemurians,
I fear I have nothing to propose you except blood, sweat and tears. All our cities are raising armies In order to win as quickly as possible our war against Austria.
Moreover, the reports sent by Mapfipolis scouts are alarming, a powerful German army has entered our territory and our diplomats and messengers have been coldly received by Heleric the Mighty, the german general in command of this army. Their intentions are not clear and we must be very cautious.
I am dreaming of a day when the children of Lemuria would leave in peace and would build markets and libraries instead of armors and swords. But this day is yet to come and our duty is now to raise the armies that would bring us the peace we need.
Tamerlin
Temporary Minister of Domestic Affairs

We should consider Rush Buying the City Walls in Mapfipolis as we are not sure of the future behavior of Germany and under the threat of a 12 units german stack.

Note: The possibility to build caravans should be evaluated through the Turn Chats on a route by route basis... and after the Germans have made their intents clear.

I think it is better to build a balista tower in mapfipolis instead of the units. First that increases the defence strengh in mapfipolis and second with building units in mapfipolis we have to remove one defender for one turn, so that the new defender can be build in the city.

I agree with you Martin but this is typically the kind of decisions that must be taken during the Turn Chats. If we Rush Buy the City Walls and the German Army attacks, the problem will be solved by itself.
On the other hand, if the Germans does not attack but still stay around our city, the Archer after the City Walls should be replaced by Ballista Towers.
If the Germans does not attack and leave our territory we can keep producing units and send the surplus defenders to reinforce another city or one of our armies on the Austrian Front.

That is the problem, I want to do a turn thread and not a turn chat as discribed in the government announcement thread and in the last part of the 16th turnchat transscript so I need detailed orders.

Here are my orders:
1 - Settlers #1 and #2 should found two cities according to the results of the current polls.
2 - If you approve: Rush Buy the City Walls in Mapfipolis
3 - In Mapfipolis: If the Germans does not attack but still stay around our city, the Archer after the City Walls should be replaced by Ballista Towers and you might consider Rush Buying the said Ballista Towers.
If the German army leaves the area around Mapfipolis, the Build Queue should not change.
