Can I have some advice?
I am playing this little game and just want to ask if my city placing would be good?
Washington - my capitol (I was thinking of movin the palace NE when I build more cities there)
Plock (hehe, jestem sentymentalny ) - forrbidden palace. I am going to war now just to get a leader (300 turns!!! )
The red dots are places where I was going to build a city. Are they good?
On the minimap: green - jungle, yellow - desert and plains.
Where do you think I should expand?

A bit tight, but yes. I would recommend moving the one near Toxcoco to one square SE, on the top of forest. Then you don't have to build the one near SF at all.

Also, I think you could build an additional city near the mountains in the east, on the forest-square, because AI could take that place. Remember to build some new cities closer to your enemies, too.

One thing I like to do in a spot like yours is to have borders all the way across the map near Washington.
This allows me to stop any wandering units from going past that point and seeing my area and dropping a settler back there. I can then fill in at my own pace and concentrate on expanding toward the AI.

Yes. There's actually a pretty potential place for this, the plains on the east (center-east of the screenshot), ne of forest.
I would recommend founding it first, and building a defensive mil unit there.

But SF and the city near was going to be my settler/worker pup up cities.
I was going to settle the desert in the east after I take care of the other cities

Are those food plains or deserts near SF?

Are you sure that the AI doesn't take it first?

I would place a city 3 tiles east of NY, that way blocking the road to your core territory. It's in the middle of the desert, but well, it IS supposed to be just an outpost. And who knows, it can garantee an oil in the future!

Off-coast, but if you want to build it purely for strategic reasons, then yes, it may make some sense...

Ah, then you're correct. No need for extra workers to do roads.
