The Star Wars vs Star Trek Thread; because it's been awhile.
It's that time again. Time to "suspend disbelief" and line up on your respective sci-fi geekiness sides.
--------------------
A wormhole has opened up in the Alpha Quadrent. Pouring through this wormhole is the Galactic Empire, which has recently defeated the Rebels at the Battle of Endor.
Can the Milky Way galaxy Stand up to the might of the Galactic Empire?
no.

Certainly. They might get some ground troops off before they're wiped out, however, so we could see some badass Sardaukar-Storm Trooper battles.

Yeah, but Sardaukar don't have any armored support.

Does it really matter? The Ewoks didn't have any armor support either and they did pretty well. Plus, the Storm Troopers will be in for a nasty shock the first time they fire a laser at shielded Sardaukar...

If anyone in any of these universes has a valid claim to being able to defeat a Q, I haven't heard it. Therefore, Star Trek wins.

I say Star Wars, only because the massive fighter squadrons would no doubt destroy puny starships. Plus, Imperial Interdictors could prevent those bungholes from going to warp speed. Also, I think the hyperdrives in the Star Wars universe go faster than the warp engines. One can cross the galaxy in a matter of days in Star Wars, while Star Trek... those people can't even go through a quadrant in under 50 years.

Galactic Empire would win. They control a whole galaxy already.
That, and Vader would just look at his opponents and they'd die.

Though i have to admit, the first three were great But now......It's spiraling downhill fast.

Star Wars or Star Treck?
What was the question again? Which of them sucks most? Hard to decide, since they sucks equally much...

Bah! The logic dictates that the Enterprise NX-01 alone would defeat all the Doom Stars in the blink of an eye
Just to ilustrate what I am talking about look at this (Archer on the right, some Empire officer on the left)
