I'm shocked and awed.
What the ****ing humanity? What the ****ing civilians? Why dont USA bomb Iraq more? Why dont they respond on Iraq torturing PoWs? USA must use more power in Iraq and think less about civilians.
What the ****ing smart missiles? Why do they fall on Turkey and Syria? Did USA test them before use? Who is launching missiles?

So first you say that the US should care less about the life of civilians and then you're upset that their missiles fall on other countries?

I'd be more concerned about your country selling Iraq weapons as recently as last month.
If everyone in Russia acted like you did, the US would wipe the floor with your pathetic rustic military.

However, Muxec has a point. I'm sure this war is a huge testing / training ground for the more difficult wars to come.

that post makes little sense.
I am shocked at the POW's though. They need to be more careful and not have men driving by themselves. Vehicles should remain in sight of each other.

I was almost certain your post would be a joke about the woman driving the convoy in the wrong direction.

i am in awe with heroic iraqi resistance. they surely surpasses anything arabs did in any modern war so far, and i expect a really stiff resistance in baghdad. unfortunately, that means that antiiraqui coalition will raze it to the ground

defending one's country against unprovoked agression is heroic

That's not quite the same. The French weapons and equipment was at the same technical level as the German one. Now where are iraqi long range bombers, stealth aircraft, satellites, "smart" bombs and all this high-tech the US use? Or do you really think their Al-Samouds are comparable to American missiles? Under these circumstances 5 days is heroic.

Heroic (if there in fact is such a thing as heroism in war) - or stupid. The Polish cavalery charges of sept 1939 springs to mind...

Never heard of guerilla warfare before? That fact that the coalition hasn't taken any major cities is a sign of stiff Iraqi resistance.
I am not sure I like this though. A long war could well means lots of civilian deaths.

I would make a joke about women drivers. But that seems a bit insensitive . And anyways we all know the army would never let a woman drive their vehicles. They lack the sense of direction. Their job is to sit shotgun and ***** to the guy about not asking Iraqis for directions.

Well, well, well.
Effectivity of Patriot SAM compex:
- 96% documentation
- 36% real war (intercepting Iraq missiles in previous war)
Real cool? And how about friend-or-foe recogntion system?
Tomahawks falling to the ground? 2 helicopters can't avoid collision even not under enemy fire? Infantry fears to enter cities?
5 days passed. Seems to be than US&UK lost comparable number of soldiers, but tech difference is really HUGE. If we divide Iraq losses by the nuber of days, we'll see that their' birth rate is more than casulaties.
Well, i'm shocked and awed by the puny powerless US&UK military.
Even in Chechen war our warriors stand to the last man, summoned artillery fire to himself because they wanted to WIN. But US&UK soldiers want to LIVE. See the difference. You are not warriors, you are chickens.

I suppose it would ruin your day to let you know that the Patriots you're talking about were from the Gulf War era, and the new ones are significantly improved (and much different).

There is no way in hell the US/UK lost a comparable number of soldiers to the Iraqis -- obviously you're not paying much attention to this war.

He summoned artillery fire to himself because he realized he's fighting for Russia.
Really, that has to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. And it's probably why the Russian military is so completely inept at fighting wars (and why they were too scared to fight in Iraq).

Are the PoWs being tortured? I was only aware of them being filmed.

More than ever this seems applicable, with America increasing army budgets, threatening other countries "en masse" etc etc
A sad thing, but Plato already knew more than 2000 years ago!
