Well we mocked ourselves and silly accents. Now we're mocking our TV and playing how far can we go?
Is Pat that ancient old cow who's more masculine than most men? If people are chasing after her then the soap is even more ridiculous than I thought and much eviler

The woman must have a great deal of inner beauty. You know, the sort of thing that all men living in the rough East End of London are attracted to.

Is now a good time to mention that I've seen the first three years -- and only the first three years?

I'd forgotten that, you are right though he did.
Pat also used to be on the game apparently. Surely she can't have made much money out of that.

Maybe she'd jump some poor drunken sod and not leave him alone until he'd give her money to leave. Imagine one of her hanging off your arm...

and if your friends were drunk too, they'd see four of her hanging off your arm! i suspect they'd rapidly become ex-friends knowing your taste was that bad.

I generally don't - my housemate loved to watch Big Brother I, so I got a healthy dose of secondary-viewing. I certainly won't watch them for the fun of it.
Like the "Salon", what do people see in that? Is it gossip related or something? Otherwise from what I've seen on adverts...
"ooh watch her cut that bloke's hair! wow!"
only things I really watch on TV are good ( American ) dramas / comedies really, e.g. West Wing, ER, The Dead Zone, Frasier.

I've never seen The Salon, that's a bit too bad even for me.
24 is the best thing on at the moment I think.

24's first series was on when I was never in or available to watch it. one thing I'd like to watch but haven't been able to yet, so obviously watching the 2nd series ( or even seeing synopsis which have series one info in ) would be a bit of a foolish move.

Not really, I came to the first series late, about 6 hours in and it was still great.
That said, you could get it on DVD or something. It is excellent. And Kim Bauer is very foxy.

A sympathy for the Brits is in order. I just read how they managed to prevent electing members into House of Lords and other wonders of british democracy. I think getting rid of monarchy would be first step to a modern 20th century Britain. After that, we can talk about 21st

ah yes us "Brits" are just escaping the coal mines and the child slavery days of the 1990s. If we're lucky, then maybe women will be allowed to vote soon and even more unlikely, rotten boroughs might be abolished!

I prefer the good old days when only land owners could vote.
