No, it is the entrance for Newbies and we shouldn't make it too difficult for them to join this.

With one sentence, Aidun, you defeated my strong arguments for trying the AU mod.
No mod it is.

To all: If you want an extra challenge, sign up for the Citystates Game and express your wishes to all the other members.
I personally think there is no need for it, but I challenge you all to convince me of the opposite! Beware, I'm a good debater!

this is a game for everyone and we are all fast learners when it comes to things like the AU Mods.... Whether they be old hand or fresh newbie.
I say go for something a bit different, challenge our minds and capabilities. You know you want it...
Vote Yes to the Mod

I joined the 1st SPDG when I was a noobie, and was scraping together histiograph wins at regent.
I lurked for almost the entire game but learnt so much.
I can now win in emporer quite comfortably.
Demo Games are training area's for noobies, and need to be kept as vanilla as possible.

Well, the no-modder's arguments have swayed me. Let's keep it clean.

I would very much like to see a game using the AU mod, because it's excellent, but I understand the counter-arguments to that.
I've voted to use a mod, but won't be heart-broken if the vote goes the other way.

Agreed. No Mod. Think of this game as a playing (learning) ground for the ISDG.
