What a bloody ****er... he closed all his corps ( high quality ones, with 243 quality, but the loser sold his goods at best price... ). so now his employment index is 10, and he's the worst country in the world except the ones that have just started and have a '1' rating.
Can the people overthrow him, while at war, so he would feel some grief?

Read on for the new changes being implemented today, April 2nd 2003.
Interface for KB & WG eg. colour schemes & new link structures have been upgraded. Updates to Golden Rainbow have also been implemented
Common, local & international market trading now exist in Golden Rainbow. Points of interest would be that contracts go on forever until either party breaks it & contracts still are limited to +-5% of market price.
Common market creation is similar to new federation creation. Minimum of 3 months of voting before new members can be accepted.
Quote from one of Kebir Blue's top players:
Zoltar: "Any common market setting for countries need would have to add a **** load of score for the loss in corp value, profits, finance index"
Perhaps what would interest all players for the April 2nd updates besides the changes already announced previously on March 26th would be the fundamental change to one of Sim Country's longest-standing characteristics (that of a never-ending semi-simulation game), the introduction of regular world resets every 3 real life months.
Amendment: After clarification from W3, it appears that resets will be country specific & not affect the entire world.
The only world which would allow unlimited play would be Golden Rainbow. Countries in all other worlds, Kebir Blue, Fearless Blue & White Giant would be reset after 3 months of play.
Regular resets for the free world countries would probably speed up processing time by 10-20% as per W3's estimates. However it seems that the time savings would not be passed along to the limited world players in terms of faster attack times, which would only be included in Golden Rainbow.
It would also bring an end to the longevity barrier where most new players find it an impossible task to catch up in assets with older established players who earn ever increasing incomes due to massive amounts of cash loaned out.
Free world play would become more transcient, as every player would start on an equal footing. The prospect of being able to start again equally with friends & enemies alike after 3 months might engender the start of a bolder & more goal orientated generation of players who no longer possess in such a large degree, the inhibitations arising from the fear of losing the fruits of many real life months of game management efforts.
A notable idea would be to commemorate each 3 month reset of the game, recording the winners of each reset in a permanent Hall of Fame.
Hopefully, the introduction of resets would bring about more willingness amongst the general player population in engaging in active player interaction. Conflicts, competition & new objectives would become the main focus as they are in many other online games, instead of the comparatively monotonous routine of interacting with the game dynamics alone.
Only time would tell whether this goal can be met successfully.
Such a move would likely spark off conflicting reactions from the player community so do vote in the poll on TNN regarding this.
Stay tuned for an upcoming debate regarding the introduction of resets between TNN Staff Reporter Tamara & Avalon as well as updates on the implementation of the country transfer feature.
Feel free to add any comments you have regarding this issue below this article.

Bah... I'm disgusted...
If they wanted us to pay for play they should have told us that way.
telling us that it is "for the good of the new players" is just plain crap.
And why the heck having a few free worlds then, I mean, noone is gonna restart after many many months of playing destroyed

Well, he turned down my ultimatium. I think I'll declare war, but let Azazelia do most of the actual fighting. For instance, I'll mostly be twiddling my thumbs.
This is more of a Political move. I might get Books Borough to delcare war too. Brad'll have to send him some belligerant chats first so he won't surrender to anyone but Azazel.

I asked Osweld if he was planning to continue playing. He said no.
If he wanted to continue playing I wouldn't have started a vote to evict him, but I don't want people who aren't playing in our federation.
Sucks about the 3-month resets.

Re: 3 month resets
This sucks. At the risk of repeating what everyone else is saying, I'm not going to bother starting over every three months because they want to save on processing time. I just hope the huge exodus of people like us when the first reset point rolls around teaches them a lesson.
