duMa (modowd724@hotmail.com) is the Believers
The AI's: Morgan, Zak, and Lal are present & have been given a few extra units etc to keep it interesting.
Large Planet
Normal worms, high rainfall and average erosion.
All victories are on, including co-operative
Tech steal when conquering is on
Directed research is on

The first turn has been sent to Mox. You should all know your passwords, if you have forgotten, please email me.

Took 4 goes to remember this was a smac pbem and why smax kept crashing when i tried to load it
Gunnar : i didn't zip the file since in the other pbem im in had some probs with winzip versions clashing and files not able to be unzipped properly so just sent it in chunk. If your on a dial-up and want to see if zip will work in future just say.

Me, I'd like mine zipped, since the file size becomes about 10% of the original size. I've got Hotmail... they like to close down accounts if they've got too much stuff in there. Lazerus, I'd suggest you get yourself a new copy of WinZip if you have problems with the version you have.

Lazerus, did you have any problem opening the zip I sent you?
I'll keep zipping it if there isn't a problem, easier sending that small file.

Turn received, played, zipped and sent to duMa.
I have ADSL so just send me the turns unzipped, I hate unzipping anyway.

Damn. Sorry about that, it seems I screwed up. It happens when you change base positions during the set-up process. I should have seen it in the original game save (I played 20 turns) but I didn't. If you wish to restart I will redo the scenario; otherwise I suggest that you exchange HQ co-ordinates to make it fair on everyone.
Humble Apologies.
Hobbes.

I'm fine either way. Situation I see so far, I can see Spartan's starting base, and by Hobbes' description, Spartans will see the Gaian's starting base.
I'll leave it up to the rest of you to decide what we should do. I'm neutral, leaning towards: oops, was a mistake, let's keep it as is.

I'm fine with it, just as long as you don't take advantage of it.
I don't see your base, though.

You can't see mine? Oh, okay... then I've no vote, really. Up to the rest of you. I try my darnedest to play fair to the point of being unfair to myself sometimes... I can black out that area of the map on my monitor with a magic marker. Don't worry, I've got Liquid Paper to fix it later.

Gecko-Mox-2104.zip sent (with a hint on naming convention)
Naw, seriously, I just see where your main base is and one space around them. I don't see any units, any production, anything else. No biggie.

turn gecko-lazerus-2104.zip to chairman lazerus.
I've been using that naming convention myself, keeps things from getting confusing...
BTW, if you have a question for me please email me, I don't check my apolyton PM too often.
