World Size and Ocean percentage
Since the results of the current polls will not affect this (unless we decide to play with a mod, which isn't looking likely), I thought I should keep the ball rolling and start the following poll. Please vote twice - once for each separate issue
A. Which size world should we have?
Tiny
Small
Standard
Large
Huge
Custom (eg bigger than huge!)
Abstain/no preference
B.What Percentage of Ocean should we have?
80%
70%
60%
Abstain/no preference

I would prefer a "larger than Huge" map, but just incase that option didn't win, I picked huge.
As for water coverage, isn't Random an option? That is what I would want. Otherwise... banana.

Hmm. I'm not sure if random is an option or not. I'll have to look when I finish work.

There should be a part C: Archipelago, Continents, or Pangeaa. It goes with the water percentage! You can make both random or choose both, but not make one random but chose the other.

I think I am the only one to vote for Larger than Huge so far, and my record for volunteering as a RG I think is unquestioned.

Yes, I realized that after I posted. I don't mean to question you; I mean to question those who AREN'T going to RG or otherwise help out with government but would/did vote Huge anyway.

Archipelago, or pangaea. I agree with joncnunn. Something different.
I like pangaea because there will be nore early game contact and involvement with more civs. Makes the FA side of the game more interesting.
The archipelago game should make the naval side more interesting. Playing England would be interesting in this scenario. But maybe an unfair adavantage - they start the closest to map making of any civ in the game. Two techs and they are there.

If you vote on the size of the world, better vote on the number of opponents as well.
