my first act as commissioner (again for some of the oldies here) is to give everybody a bunny.

DBTS
I would have written in GT, since he does a fine job, but that would conflict with the DPO job.

Was Darkness' Edge the first Commisioner, or was DBTS? DBTS was it when I joined, but I don't know before that.

Hopefully DBTS won't, upon seeing the insane number of formers we've built since his days as commissioner, simply scrap most of them rather than subject himself to what GT's been going through

I doubt it. Although 100 is too many. I would be all for scrapping a few, we have no need of them, with mag tubes already built in many places.

Crisler the Legendary was our first commissioner, but he mysteriously disappeared before we landed on Planet. As a consequence Alpha Talent Darkness' Edge played the first month.

Almost 2 centuries ago. For that matter, is there something in Planet's atmosphere that keeps us alive and able so long? 200 years is a long time to live.

It's the longevity shots you have every couple of years. Surely you remember those? Or did they put something in them to make you forget, but no-one else?

Ah yes, forgot about that, but even before that, it took us over 100 years to come up with the longevity vaccine (IIRC) Before that, we must have done something? Unless we didn't survive.

We still had longevity treatements, they were just cruder and harder to make. The Longevity Vaccine merely made it more efficient and easier to make, so it could be distributed to the general population.

Like it. So the population died while we survived, on the opld method? Hmmm... Planned at it's worse
