Just got my CGW magazine in the mail. They reviewed MOO3 giving it 3/5 stars. The final verdict of the two page review states "This almost brilliant game demands too much and provides too little to win the hearts and minds of any but the most patient gamer."

Computer Games Magazine was more harsh. 2/5. "Second guessing viceroys, negotiating with aliens suffering from multiple personality disorder, and watching space pixels blast each other does not lasting fun make."

I agree. I have switched to GalCiv. MOO3 just became too boring and frustrating. You turn off the econ AI and enhancements to DEA's don't get built, turn it on and your constantly fighting the idiot for control.

PC GAMER gave it some knocks, but said he was still playing.
I am playing Galciv as well.
