hmmmph.... the current map only has a mere 72 countries available (with 5 pre-placed nations). There's a little room to add in more islands but that is one of the few areas of open sea. I suppose I'll have to expand the map eastward and push back the border to CFC... this will allow for a few more continent based countries as well as some additional sea to the north and south. Or I could pust the map westward/southward. If anyone wants to make a suggestion, your window of opportunity is (briefly) open.

The BMGf region was already established with Bulbagarden as being to the South-East. The expansion will have to be more to the West.

Progress continues on, but unfortunately (and inexplicably), I fell asleep last night shortly after 9pm and thus didn't get any work on the map done  
I've expanded the map westward slightly and have rearranged some of the islands to free up a bit more space. There's a touch more than 90 nations by my last (rough) count and I estimate that there's room for a dozen more.
I might be able to finish today, but I'm not sure if I've the time to do the detail work (drawing in many tiny islands, numbering of countries and proper formatting) that I'd like to finish before putting the map up.
IMHO, it looks to be a fairly decent map, and I'm pleased with the results this far

Barring catastrophic computer problems and prolonged periods of unscheduled unconciousness, the map will be up at approximately 11:00 am EDT (about 17 hours from the time of this post)
