Well done!
Why have I been rushing all those Grain silos in the Urals?
I dont know if you should push forward, the next stop would be Warsaw correct? Do you have enough units? Thats the real question.

Warsaw...if that's where the front is, we should be in Berlin sometime next year...
Congratulations on your recent victories, comrade!

well, we should discuss this, go straight to Berlin this winter or hold minsk and give all the reinforcements to other front
or still of just taking Berlin we should have other objective cities we must take in order to win
we should make a poll about it

We should probably take those other cities first. I agree, lets have a poll.

Congradulations on your offensive. All of our citizens are inspired by your defeat of the Germans in the summertime.
I think we should have an outside poll before plotting where to launch the next offensive in the north. It will also depend on how threatening the German attack in the south is.

Well is someone going to start a poll or are we just going to spam about it?
Someone take initiative and do it! Include a banana option ( a mandatory requirement for any true Soviet Citizen starting a poll ) and also include an "other post below option".
I think H would agree this is a Front Commander job.

Colwyn,
where is the labor brigade from Tula????
also, why are you moving the units of our co-front without consulting me first
more things,
the siberian regiments at bryansk???
and instead of moving every single unit you have to Minsk you could help your southern flank,
if the nazis take Gomel we will have the lutwaffe attacking possibly six cities
I moved the AA battery and the NKVD from Tula to Orel,
remember the labor brigade, we need good comunicatinos with our front
I think you could also start to re-build the road between Smolesnk and Bryansk

Comrade Colwyn, how confident are you of holding Minsk for the foreseeable future? If you are sure you can hold the city the Soviet Pragmatism Wonder means many garrisons in the rear areas, previously needed to quell dissent, could be sent forwards to the front lines.
Also I would like your opinion on building the soon avaliable Electrification wonder in Moscow. I know that currently units for your front are being produced there. But Moscow has the highest production other than Staingrad (increasingly becoming a front-line city). The Electrification wonder counts as a Hydro-Eelectric Dam in every city in the Soviet Union so you can see the huge benifits this would bring and the need to build it as fast as possible.

Minks is soviet citizens
Minsk will hold forever comrades, it will not fall again to the Nazi's I have the men tools and our ideology to keep it.
Shaka I don't see how we can be sure to hold gomel its too open and I'd hate to lose 3kv1's etc by an attack by the enemy up the river with mobile art which will wipe them out.
However I'll send a unit there each turn to assist, but the AA's arn't being approved which shows our boss's arn't too keen on spending money on it.
I will build those roads soon they are really needed in winter not summer so we have a little time.

That's great if we can hold onto Soviet Pragmatism.
Excellent job, Colwyn.
I've finally decided upon a suitable Russian moniker:
-Ivan Stefanovich

Units free'd up is good send them to Shaka as compensation for the loss of some of my supporting troups in taking/keeping Minsk.
Yes build it in Moscow ASAP, how many turns will it take? If we get it we could sell our power plants (must be millions in it for us) rush buy it even.
I'll happily give up a few units to get it built!

We should start building the electrification wonder in Moscow and rush buy it next turn with the money we get from sellin powerplants. This will boost production in cities not having powerplants right nnow, and will give us a higher cash surplus every turn as we won't have to pay for the upkeep of all those plants anymore!
For the rest, very good job, comrade Pavlov. I understand you are eager to free our Polish brothers, but we might consider first to eliminate the threat to russian cities as Gomel, Kursk, Bryansk, etc by attacking the German siuthern armies. Your colleagues at the southern fronts are having a hard time to fight of there massive hordes!

Action report July 1942
Another russian city liberated, the drive to Berlin continue's.
Salient expanded and units moved to support comrade Shaka's front esp Gomel.
Sturmoviks will be repaired next turn and could be used to support other fronts if needed.
Tip : Use cossacks to scout in enemy's ZOC this allows you to bypass enemy units and take cities utalising their defences rather than be left in the open for a counter attack

Very good job!

You know, when we finish this Demo-game we should write the definitive Red Front v1.4 strategy guide based on our experience. And we should use the Belorussian front as a major case-study of excellent frontline tactics! Very well done Comrade! Don't slacken of until we've reached the Atlantic!

Action plan for August.
Advance & Advance, though I may give warsaw a miss this turn so I can bring up some artillery and kayusha's a major city like that is bound to have AA 88's and a hedgehog or two.
The german offensive has stalled my ground units as they were damaged in heavy fighting but held the line.
I will retool all our unneeded hydro and power plans now that we have unlimited power accross the continent!

This could just be nothing but paranoia, which is very healthy in the Soviet Union but...
Is there a risk of German units attacking your southern flank up from Lvov, and more importantly, Kiev?

Won't Brest Litovsk disappear if we take it? Isn't it better to wait until it has size two, so that we have a springboard against Lublin and Lvov?

yes colwyn, you are doing an excellent job, but I think it is a good idea if you make your offensive helping other flanks,
specially the second ukrainian front is very screwed
excellent job anyways

Don't forget Fog of War, I'm betting that the city hasn't been within sight of a Soviet Union combat division for a full year. The city could well have grown to size 5 from German troops ravaging the Soviet women there We must liberate the city!
