Official: Minister of Infrastructure Communication for turn 137+
After a completed road network to Weins (cost 580PW) what should be the main infrastructural priority in the upcoming turns?
We now have a capability to build farms, mines and trading posts.
We are behind in science, and production is always valuable, but of course an increase in population would contribute to both. Which should be our priority when considering which to place?

IW,
on which cities to you want to concentrate?
I think it mainly depends on the city, which you want to develop. Like the once in the mountains should get farms and mines, the ones in the lowlands (Hi Locutus ) should get farms and trade posts.
just my two €-cents..........

I think we should focus on mines in the next turns but that we should build Trade posts and Farms as soon as we have built mines in some strategical cities...

if we built mines now, we will have more pw for farms and trade posts after that. the bigger cities won't need any farms before they got aqueducts btw

Concentrating initially on the core cities which are less vulnerable to conquest and/or pillaging. ie. Pedrunnia, CL, H Town, Graz, Pressburg.
Personally, I think we should continue our science catch-up race and go with trading posts.

IMHO, I don’t think we should spend too much time on roads and farms just yet. At worst, we should only use PW on roads for frontier towns or militarily vulnerable cities; and only build farms around cities with ludicrous growth rates.
I would love to build some mines to boost production, but that’s not what we need now. Our military is strong; our production is adequate; our growth is fine; our science is abysmal. We need to play catch-up with science. So I’ll vote for Trading Posts. (With some mines in-between for flavour. )

Its hard to generalize, some will need farms first for example but Trading Posts should be our main aim in bigger cities (+7) now IMO. Production will come more naturally than commerce ever will so we shouldnt need any mines at all.
