well, I'm at almost 21 posts per day so a nice big to you all
You know, if this whole title system and custom avatar after 500 didn't exist there would be no post count issues. You want to get rid of on-topic spam? Get rid of that.

I think the spam makes for an amusing break. I read mostly the Alpha Centauri forum, and the majority of the doctoral dissertations posted there are dry to say the least, to casual players like me, anyway.
One recent new poster was dressed down for his exuberance, which was admitted a little too exuberant, but still the most entertaining post in a while.
It's good to have jokes about Chairman Yand instead of formula after formula (Not that I don't appreciate the formulas ).

That's not something I would be proud of Besides, you've only recently cracked the top 200.
Now if only we could sort posters by ppd...

If I were there i'd blast that Sister Miriam... she really got on my nerves in the game. If I could only have seen her being "nerve stapled".... ooohhhh....

Static Universe,
every time I see your sig (fortunately not very often) these 'enlightening' verses irremediably come to my mind:
Yeah, Ali McGraw got mad with you
for givin' head to Steve McQueen,
yeah, and we made a pretty pair,
fallin' through the Silver Screen.

do you know he made 200 posts in 2-3 days last month?
I noticed it when I was daily watching to make certian that I stayed in the top 20
It was scary... I saw him on page 2... then he jumped 4 above me and notyouetiher and trip!

riiiight, because post count matters.
you do the demo games because they are fun! not because they boost your post count. At least I participate because they are fun I didn't know people cared that much.
|
actually, I wouldn't have bothered to join unless I saw post possibilities in there- since I don't like to spam, I have to find legitimate reasons to post IF it didn't count for anything- I wouldnt' care enough to post
I only post on apolyton wehn I'm trying to reach a goal- any other time, I just get bored and stop posting.
post counts are why I'm still around and still contribuiting.

200 posts in 2-3 days???!?!?!?!?!?!?!
That's 4.17 posts PER HOUR during waking hours.
It's so incredible it's almost pathetic...
I mean, are there really so many threads to participate in such a way???

I wouldn't be surprised if he showed up here soon
These people can SMELL a thread which is talking about them. Case in point: we made a brief mention of panag in a thread in the Spanish Forum, and less than 1 page later, HE SHOWED UP!!!
I mean, either someone tipped him off (most likely) or he lurks in every forum known to man

Nothing personal, man. You and I don't visit the same forums. That I don't get to see your sig too much is fortunate cos my mind does not have to go to these verses too frequently.

[mumble]
Hmmm, let's see, for short period of time that's about 66-100 posts per day, about 3-5 times the current average leader in ppd.

4.17 per hour.... thats nothing, when OTF posts still counting the coffee shop could get you a few hundred posts alone

ouch... at least be more discreet... I saw that thread where Tuomerehu got PCRed and it it was like doing 3 posts for an idea of 3 lines (and blatantly stating it was for post count purposes)
Not a wise thing to do in a Ming moderated forum (or probably anywhere else)
