				Office of the Armaments Ministry

This is the my office where I decide on the fate of our heroic labour efforts for the further glory of the Soviet Revolution!
 Armaments Minster
In charge of the Ural Mountains Industrial Complex of cities and the production of those not directly under control of a Front commander (these western cities like Tula and Orel etc will eventually be occupied by Commanders, negating duty). Controls what is produced. Controls workers and labor brigades within the region for maximum output. Must gain the agreement of the Economic Minister to spend money out of the national treasury. Reports to the Marshal.

Please come and see me if you require a certain type of weapon/unit to be made quickly or want to field test new designs.
I plan to work with the Comrade Economic Minister to maximise our glorious effort to derail the Fascist incursion!

My first duty will be to ditch any un-needed buildings in the Urals area, and convert my region into a 'tank-a-turn' industrial sprawl!

If you must visit me urgently, PM me with any concerns.

My Comrade and fellow worker is available too!
Economic Minister's Office down the hall...
All commanders on my front please recall this...

"We who defend the Urals are the mighty backbone of the USSR!
If all other fronts falter, we must be the fortress that stands!
If we fall...Then the Revolution fails..."

But with the invincible Red Army at your disposal, the USSR is safe!

And I would remind you that I am charge of Labour brigades...
Including PRISON Labour!

			Comrade!
Since you are in command of our labour brigades may I request for priority to be given to the improvement of the Caucus oil fields (by building roads on them). Oil is the lifeblood of a modern army and if we want KV-1s rolling off the production lines as quickly as possible we must maximise science production in the first few turns.
(airports to fly in labour brigades will by build in the Caucuses in due course).

Comrade Greeny!
These priorities are duly noted!

I will have to double check that my powers extend to the Caucus or not...

When exactly do the refugees switch from the command of the front commanders to the control of the armaments minister?

I'm pretty sure it is alowed ANZAC, no one suggested a rule banning it and it's a big part of the Red Front industialisation process. I did suggest that we shouldnt build them East of the Volga however as would just be silly.

I have been given command of all refugees by the Marshal.
They count as labour, and that is my bag!

If you want refugees put under your command:

*State a good reason here or on the turn thread.
*Tell me which city they are to go to.
*Then the Armaments Ministry will try to send some of our hapless citizens to your area!

Otherwise, I plan on creating new cities and boosting those in the Urals.

Front Commanders who do well may find a new city created in their honour!

Now isn't that worth fighting for? |

I just looked at the save, we have hardly any roads on the oil field squares. Adding a road turns the 25 trade to 35, probably more for the special "refinery"squares. Disastrous consequences could soon entail if we do not have roads up there soon.

I believe Comrade Siblingov is planning on that. If I can keep him out of the Moscow Brothels long enough. He already has at least two refugees staged in the Caucass and maybe more coming to go to work as soon as the snow flies.

If he doesn't build roads then well you know:

I ordered Airfields in those cities, as yet I have none.

Otherwise there is no way to get those labourers down to the South.

But the refugees should be turning into workers soon.
And I will begin roads as soon as this event happens.

Nefarious fascists appear to have distrupted communications between our two ministries! Which cities are in need of airports comrade? They will be constructed immediately! Baku and Grozney already have airports. Remember each road built gives 10 extra trade arrows per month and far more on refinary squares!
