What expansion-packs/sequels would you like to see?
I have for a long time been awaiting sequels/XP's for certain games, but most of them never was made
At present time, I'm looking forward for an XP for:
Freedom Force: This XP should include a much better MP, than it is included in the game...
SimGolf: I got quickly tired of the game, but the game would have been awsome, if they included MP, so I could challenge some player, on that players course... or even join a tournament, on some other players course...
...and looking forward for sequels for:
theme Hospital: this game was awsome... would be really nice, to have a sequel for this one. But this one should include a more non-linear gameplay (e.g. You choose which level you want to play, you choose if earthquake should happen, etc...)... I got tired of the game, because of the boring missions... This game has so much potential...
Syndicate Wars: This game actually has some potential in online MP games, I think... having one large world map (With more levels... an an editor included, so the server can add more levels to the game), where the players who has logged in, works for different Syndicate orgs. A mission could be like: Two players (working for two different Syndicates), but has the same mission: Kill all enemy Syndicates in an area... to play this mission, three players are needed (The defender + the attackers)
Lemmings 2: All Lemmings games since Lemmings 2 was a failure... this game started so well... we don't want to end the series with bad memories... now would we?

HoI2, spanning the entire 20th century.
It can wait untill they finish ironing out the first one, though.

Alpha Centauri 2
Fallout 3, a real one, not some crappy spin off! (but Fallout: Tactics was ok )
Theme Hospital 2
All the other sequels i want are already coming out, or i haven't played them yet, for example SimCity 4 and Space Empires 5

eu2 - basically for better ai, diplomacy, multiplayer(vnet sucks imo), and fixing all the damn ctd bugs(eu2 crashes once every 3 hrs or so for me, much more when doing multi)! they have been patching it like mad lately though so maybe it'll be almost as good as an expansion pack.

actually, I don't care if the game comes out right, but having Chris Sawyer behind it will increase that possibility dramatically.

Hmmm......
I'd love a real follow-up to Pirates, pref by Sid himself
A complete re-vamp of the Alternate-Reality series of rpg's
......that should do me for a while (like the next few years!)

I would say Starcraft 2, but that's so freaking, glaringly, obvious a choice for a sequel, who'd ever think to actually make it?

SMAC 2 ! In my opinion, SMAC is the best Civ-style game ever.
Other ones I'd be interested in would be:
Galactic Civilizations 2 (am very much enjoying GalCiv currently)
Civilization 4 (IMO, Civ 3 added some thing, but lost others... a civ game taking the best ideas from Civ 2, Civ 3 and SMAC would get me to buy it at once. Though, that's unlikely to happen - I guess whoever does 4 will feel they have to come up with new features, whether they work well or not)
Imperialism 3 (Recently started playing Imperialism 2 after getting it on budget and was pleasantly surprised)
Wizardry 9 (I like old-fashioned RPG's)
Thief 3 (Thief 1 and 2 are among the few First-person games I really could immerse myself into)
Railroad Tycoon 3 (Railroad Tycoon 2 is a very interesting and good strategy game, and a nice variation from all the TBS civ-style ones)
The Longest Journey 2 (Adventures are a dying genre... but The Longest Journey was an awesome game... and excellent for playing together with my gf )

More speculative:
Starcraft 2
SMAC2
Civ4

I would like nothing better than to see SMAC 2 - made by BR and Big Huge Games and not those hacks at Firaxis.

If he is involved, hopefully he's worked out a decent road/rail laying algorithm in the years since the last Transport Tycoon. That used to drive me crazy.

Actually, starting HoI a few years after the italian unification and before WWI and ending it with WWII would also be a good idea so that you could see nationalism playing out...
then they could release a hypothetical Cold War game- where the US and Russia played a game of nuclear musical chairs; with email messages, letters, proxy wars, crises, etc. all trying to either destroy the other nation or prevent nuclear winter
it could make for an interesting layered game with war/diplomacy/pacing

Personally, would prefer to see more original games than sequels! Something similar to Civ but with more emphasis on politics... that is, AI leaders that you choose to fight your wars, rather than pushing every pesky unit around a huge map... I certainly hope AI programming gets that good in my lifetime.

Deus Ex 2
Thief 3
XCom sequal
Thinking about it, I'm quite lucky as all three are being produced.
Now I just need to hope they live up to their predecessors.
