However...
Medal of Honor: decent new sequel for the PC platform in this series. Rising Sun/Pacific Assault isn't exactly yet that.
BF 1942: in the expectancy of more nice patches and a patch for Road to Rome, the Secret Weapons of WWII should be okay. However something more sophisticated which would mean conciderably more vehicles and larger maps for MMOG FPS would be neat. Just wishful thinking...
Panzer General V: well, as Mattel Interactive has the rights now, I have no idea what's going to happen. However a heavy facelift would be welcome.
Civ IV: something I do look forward for. However more like an illusion in the dispair.

You mean PG 4.
What happened to SSI anyway? A good expansion pack is to put the whole pacific theater in PG 3 format. They did it once, they could do it again.

Maybe we should start a forum speculating on SMAC 2.
Majesty? That game sucks so bad, I removed it after like 15 minutes of play. ::vomit::

Sorry, Urban, I should try to keep the record abit better. As for SSI, they've melted into Mattel Interactive. Should we expect Ken soldiers next? My copy of PGIII Scorched Earth is that new it's branded both as SSI and Mattel Interactive.

So's mine. Has that annoying stick figure jumping around whenever I start the game.

Rubbish. Brood War was an x-pack (the analogue for FL would be Opposing Force). Blue Shift was a standalone Half-life game.

That still doesn't keep it from being little more than an x-pac.

It is not innovative I'll grant you. But it is standalone.

What exactly didn't you like? I found the short supply of scenarios disappointing along with other annoyances, but still good material for a sequel.
Anyway, how much can you tell about a game in 15 minutes?

I couldn't pause the game to do things, and all those idiots went on their own ways to get slaughtered.

Imperialism 3

Railroad Tycoon 3 - on its way apparently.

The look and feel should stay the same, but i don't mind if it is 3D.
Static for example had realtime 3d rendered characters, it improved performance, and still had the fallout-look.
static screenshots:
http://www.static-thegame.com/screen_shots_03.html
the project is dead now btw.

Imperialism III, I'd want it to be during the era of the initial one though. As when comparing the two again recently I found the first one better than the second one (the engine simply fits better for the era which it was built for)...
