Maybe I did or maybe I didn't. Actually, I was being a slacker and taking a "sick" day from work.
Congrats 'poly.

HEY!!! there is a perfectly good reason I start those 1000 new member threads.......chicks dig it!
Besides, it's not like they are a "let's pretend to pull a joke but not actually do anything funny" thread.

Well, I keeep my research, and you should be able to expect a new C3MT version in about two weeks.
It's just that it's hard to be the first one (known to me) to research the Civ3 PTW savefile format

Nikolai,
I would be happy to tell, but I think I don't have the right to do so.
HT,
I know more than you in this case.

I was searching around the forums for some stuff, and here is what I was thinking:
It would be a really cool feature if when you click the search link from some forum, then the "Search Forum..." drop-down menu would have that forum automatically selected. I mean, most of the time, when I come to a forum, and then I realize that there was this one thread in it I want to see again, and I click the search, and... spend a horrid amount of time trying to find the forum in the laundry list of all the available ones. It's a little thing, but very annoying. Plus, I reckon, it wouldn't be too hard to implement. Just take the referrer, parse out the forumid, or the postid (in the latter case, fetching the forum the post belongs to), and voila, you got your forum. Just set that option to selected in the options tag for the drop-down menu and you are set.
So, could you maybe do that for half a "cool feature" of which you are plenty behind? Please?

It would be far more useful to fix the search feature first (the vast majority of the posts isn't indexed), so that it actually has some practical value... That would be worth 5 features to me.
And Ras: Markos has been pushing that feature around for probably about a year now. The chance that it ever gets released is no larger or smaller than the chance that any other random feature gets implemented. Therefore, you know nothing more or less than anyone else here (expect Markos himself, of course)

Actually I searched for the 10k and the 20k members threads to check their dates and I couldn't find them, neither here nor on the archives.

Looks like we have a very low ming timeout today. I didn't have time to post in that other thread...
However, I see no need for more moderation right now I think Ming and rah are doing a great job, and together with regular posters who reports bad posts it's all what we need for now.
