its a dead heat right now - 3 each. Does the candidate who has lost a straw poll to a banana before have a campaign speech? (i think some of the doubt comes from those who remember a minister who didn't have MGE to view the save...)

There are rumors that the Banana has secretly acquired MGE in preparation for its new duties...

Hello I am James Adams,
I am here to talk to all I think you should know I have civ2 MGE so can view game, but as it is on a computer not connect to the internet, I can not run for President. But I am experience and wise as a foreign Minister in the past.
So please vote for the experience one.
But I am not here to stop the election as I believe in democracy!
I will be the editor of the newspaper, everytime I have no position in the government! So beware!

If civ2 isn't on an internet computer, just how do you plan on getting the save onto that computer? There is no distinction between a minister and the president in terms of needing the internet.

In the interests of saving the 3.5" disk from total obsolescence, I voted for Adams.

STYOM:
I was in the same boat as James Adams. So long as he has access to the internet that allows him to save the disk, then I see no problem with him running for Foreign minister.

I was also concerned that 'Banana Eves' was a relative of Ernie, thus my vote

My computer with Civ2 is not connected to the Internet. I simply save the .sav file onto a floppy.
But I agree that you can do that whether you are a minister or the president.

People I can use floppy drive to transfer the disc, but it would be stupid, for me to run for president as I think I have not got experience on another field like military other foreign minister!
Vote for me as experience foreign minister not experience in another job here!

It gets worse, in my part of the world they do not use the term 'floppies' but 'stiffies' to decribe 3.5 inch disks....
Which term is more suitable?

It would seem "stiifie" would be more suitable, "floppie" referred to the 5 1/4 inch disks, which are(were) indeed floppy, as opposed to the decidedly un-floppy hard disks.

Make up your mind! Are you not running because of lack of Internet, or lack of experience?
