For MGE, I think it’s defnitively 1948 for one civ and 2048 for all civs. I found the values and changed them. Even made a patch with it. A civ can now build up to 2049 units, but at the 2050th, the game crashes. If anyone wants to check if it works the same way for his computer, I can send him the patch.
My patch gets rid of the 255 cities limit too. But there are 2 problems. The game crashes after 270 cities are build and the units allocations are not correct.
For ToT, I haven’t tested the number of units problem yet. For the cities, you can build as many as you want but with the problem of units allocation. Further test is required and it takes a lot of time. I won’t have that time until the summer holidays, and even then, I’m not sure …
