There is a multiplayer XCom based game of sorts. It is a squad versus squad combat mission where you don't get to choose what your soldiers are armed with, and the weapon accuracy is a little off (my soldier missed 5 shots in a row 1 square away from an enemy), but it is still fun. Grenades own.

It is called XCom 2000 or something similar (iirc).

Nah, it was written by a Russian and used the art directly from XCom. As such, it wasn't a commercial game.
