actually we have a run off, and then the cabinet votes. but i'm willing to skip all that, the whole process just isn't worth it in my opinion.

How about I offer to withdraw my vote, thereby breaking the tie? I was drunk when I voted.

It's a secret, who I voted for. But it's sort of a King Solomon's solution... the candidate who protests the most shouldn't be elected, anyway

I agree - let's not bother with a run off election - I'm willing to withdraw my vote for the banana.

Not sure. MWIA's last post was April 8th. I have the game map and I will send it to him, but I can't find his email address.

I emailed him through Apolyton (doesn't require knowing the address). But it won't let me attach a file. Let's give him some time to respond. I think it is morning now where he is.

Well, I'm baffled. MrWhereItsAt has not answered my Apolyton email message, he hasn't posted anywhere for almost 3 days (and with an average of 6.33 posts per day, that seems pretty odd), he disappeared at the very time the elections were about complete, and he must have known he was leading the poll.
My assumption would be that a real life event has interfered with his abilty to communicate with us.
I suggest the Cabinet members get together and decide what to do.

We have Masonry. IIRC, that starts us *off* "The Perfect Path", doesn't it?
I'll be around all weekend, so as soon as someone is designated to start the game, I'll send them the map.

I think it is up to the rest of the Cabinet to decide what to do with human/banana ties. Not having the President around to lead the decision makes it awkward, though.
I would be inclined to suggest that a tie goes to the human, just as a matter of practicality, but I also think it would be entirely legitimate for the Cabinet to choose some other method of breaking the tie.

A posting paper scissors rock competition. Post to see that two people are online, then both try to post at the same time. James Adams will take one, and someone else can take the banana side.

Or PM rock, paper, or scissors to cavebear or someone else.
Although a fight to the death would be interesting...gladiator style! lock the contestants in an arena with a sword each...toss in some hungry lions and you're good to go!
