Just regarding the issue of one nation per eprson until everyone has pciked - could we say that each person may place as many naitons as they like, but that every nation after the first may be replaced by someone else's first nation if they want it?
If this is okay, I would like Greater Chimerica to have #38.

New Griffith would like to be 37. As for Sheepsta, technically that should already be mine, but thats for the damn court to decide.

If we are doing GT's idea, that we place our other nations, yet if a first country want's it, they take priority, then Zetaris (a newly settled colony of Akiria, run as a seperate nation) would like #39. As Archaic said, there are not so many active nations, that there should not be a problem with having more than one. Moreover, if we are doing this realistically, we would pick in order of date founded, as that is when they would have taken that area.
Anyway, it was always my opinion that all nations were equal, and thus we do not need to know who owns/controls each nation, they are all considered individual nations. But then, it is CW's decision on placement, being his map.

Argh, why you're all choosing those islands ? Do you all come from britain (edit: or Australia) ? I'd like to have some more continental nations because in real the continents would be settled 1st too butit's on your own of course. Err, Ben why you don't want to be my neighbor ?

It's Ben, you need to ask why he wants number 69 I quote:

I was going to bring up the issue of there being more countries in the region than there are countries on the map, but 5 countries died today and at least 2 more vanished while I was making the map, which weakens my (former) point.
GT's idea seems like a good one, so we'll go with that

Therefore, since priority goes to first nations, please state if it is a 2nd or subsequent nation. Most countries in the region are not active though. Barely 20% of us post regularly on either the region board of here on 'Poly.

IIRC, Iguana Fire is DarkCloud's primary nation, but it'd be better to ask
DarkCloud: Is Iguana Fire your primary nation?
battosai: You've yet to specify if you'd rather have 28 or 29...
Archaic: If DarkCloud's selection is valid, then you'd need to re-pick for North Spire

Iguana Fire is his main nation. It is the one he uses in RP at least.

@ CW: I wait for some neighbors. Because i've one of the smallest armies in Apolyton, i don't want any pcychotics in my near. Maybe i'd also better chosen an island but continents r more interesting imho.

Indeed it does. While I'm at it, I may as well change the ones for Wishet and Fanaan.
Could I have 7, 6, 8 in that order for North Spire, Wishet and Fanaan please. They're a better approximation of the regions I had mapped in my head anyway.

UR: This is a new map, not based upon the old ones. So nothing happened to it, but there isn't one like it here. It would have been way to complicated for CW to have tried to get all the nations the same as last time.

Okay. I'll magically merge 34 with 36, and claim the combined territory. That's the closest I can find.

I actually have two nations going right now, but I'm not going to claim a map space for both of them right now. In case there's a lot of demand.

multiple spots for one country is currently prohibited. In the future I might remove this provision, if there's a definite lack of participation in this thread. There seems to be a good number of countries in our region, but mighty few posters

I didn't select one, but the map is 1200x1000 pixels, so some enterprising individual could calculate a reasonable one

Has been given to CW, but here is the details Akiria map, so if people want to give me ideas for it, would be appreciated
Edit: Tried to upload as a file, but came out as image The Akirian flag is the view from Angels' Landing, down the Zion River, towards the bay and the Cloud Peak Mountains.
