The Chimera is, of course, a monster from Greek mythology that is an amalgam of a lion, a goat, and a snake and breathes fire and poisonous gases. According to The X-Files (and you know how accurate that show is

) it's also a biological term. I forget exactly what they said it means.

That's basically it; although I got the name from elsewhere,t hat was what it was derived from there. It was from a computer game called Hidden Agenda, which you can read about here:

NAmed that because it's basically a combination of a number of different Central American countries, much as the chimera was a combination of different animals.

I propose a map feature called the Continental Divide (tentative). It is the thick brown line in the map, representing an imposing mountain range caused by tectonic plate movements to the Southeast.
