Make STAVKA an indepaendant Political body that the Marshall is accountable too.
No Front commanders or ministers.
If a Stavka member takes a front command or minister poistion he automatically loses his status as a stavka member.
That means 4 new slots for guys to do something and I have two guys right now that want to become more active.

If we can find enough interested people, then I think this is a good idea as it will get more people involved.

Also to make being on STAKA more interesting we could expand it's role in the chain of Command, i.e. planning large operations/ deciding on front priorities and so STAVKA could be responsible for giving orders to Front Commanders. Like "hold Kursk to the last man" or "cut off the Southern salient and link up with the 2nd Ukranian Front".
Although the Marshal would have the final say and the power to veto STAVKA orders (higher up the chain of command).

The planning of millitary operations should be up to the front commanders. Grand strategies and the goals of offensives should be what's up to the Stavka...

Guys lets keep this discussion to the Stavka thread, that where most of it is. That way we dont have to jump back and forth.
It was good we got the idea in here, but lets figure out the details in the Stavka thread, OK?
Thanks!
