Official Poll: Try for Diplomatic Victory
This is a very important poll because if it achieves the support of the citizens it will signal the end of the current SMACDG.
The poll is deliberately simple with yes, no, abstain and Xenobanana options.
To achieve Diplomatic victory we need to achieve 3/4 of the Planetart Council vote: we need to convince enough faction leaders to unite behind us as Supreme Leader of the Planet.
As you are aware there is the possibility that a faction leader will defy the will of council to submit, in which case all loyal (to the Supreme Leader) factions will go for victory by conquest.
We want to get this right to end the game ASAP. So I ask everyone to do their duty.

The 'getting it right' actually referred to the mechanics of the achieving supreme leader, if that was what was voted for, but I can see how it could be misunderstood.
