What is the Spartan Chronicles? please write a short story. the texts on the Spartan Chronicles are too long so i dont want to read them if they arent interresting, because it would take all day to do that!

14 authors, writing from different characters points of view re the events on Chiron from 2225 onwards, principally from the Spartan perspective.

War, politics, insurrection, discovery, character development, sex, lies and videotape.

Rynn has them on word.doc format, and can e-mail them if you are interested - but they now comprise over 700 pages and aren't just a one hour read.

So you are looking for a 'taste' of Spartan Chronicles? Well, tell me what sort of stuff you like. I will do a little digging from SC and post it to you here. We have a bunch of excellent authors, and each seems to have a niche. Some possible topic include:

* Combat scenes (air force, ground, infantry, armor, naval)
* Probe actions (several flavors)
* Intrigue (mainly political)
* Psi combat (human and mindworm)
* Society visualizations (e.g. - what a Morgan or Hive city is like)
* Chiron ecology and mindworms (my favorite)
* Yang, Morgan, Lal, and Deirdre. Interestingly, there isn't' much on Santiago. Go figure! Zak and Miriam were eliminated, and are suffering in a punishment sphere somewhere.
* Steamy stuff - yes, Googlie wasn't lying when he mentioned sex, lies and videotape in SC!!!

There are probably more, so if one comes to mind let me know and I may be able to dig it up for you. Note that the post may be a little out of context, but I will add a preface to fill in the necessary gaps.
