Yep, we're working on forming an Izzard team.

Current members are me, alva and Arrian. Maybe Vel. Maybe Theseus.

Is anybody else interested? PM me or post here if you want to join, the only requirement is that you love Eddie Izzard!

It'd be nice if we had a couple of non-GS people.

In terms of actually playing the game, we're gonna be very relaxed about it, obviously. It'll be more like a succession game than a demogame from our point of view. No structured government style, any player can play the turns (we'll try to rotate it, depending on who has free time), it'll almost be .... dare I say it? .... the Voxian system?

Lots and lots of Roleplaying too, of course.

/edit: Shiber says he wants to join too, which is awesome.
Are there any non-GS people out there who have an Izzard obsession?

Are we going to wait for worldwide coverage of 1.21? Or start on 1.14 and upgrade later?

That makes 5 definite members now (Definite Articles?

) and 2 possibles. Easily enough to form the team, although I'll still accept a couple more if people ask really nicely and quote something witty at me.

Would the organisers please consider the Izzard team an offical team in the game. Thanks.

Continued prodding of Markos has yielded nothing so far... he's probably pretty busy right now so it may be a little while yet before we get a forum and that sort of thing.

I will probably start setting up some polls in this forum for the game over things like difficulty level, accel prod, # of teams, etc. soon.

Theseus has confirmed his membership to the Izzard team. Ixnay has joined too.
So if anyone's maintaining a central list of all the teams and members they can be added.

We'd like to play as England too please. If anyone else wants it then we can work something out, but I'm assuming that it won't be a popular choice.

We don't really care if we win the game or not, of course, and so are picking our Civ for purely flavour reasons.

Am I getting a little too far ahead of myself here? Probably, I'll wait for some new threads before I comment further. I understand that very little has been decided on about this game so far.

Issues with patches will mean that (like every other game), the PTWDGII will begin with 1.14f.

I'll set up another thread for PTWDGII with info about teams, members, rules, etc. very soon.
