New Apolyton banner
http://www.apolyton.com/forums/showt...threadid=83271
There have been several requests now to feature the Iraqi information minister on an Apolyton banner.
I thought that this was an excellent idea, and I would like to hear what Markos thinks of this.
Do I hear any seconders?

I saw it mentioned in that thread as well...
I think Markos needs to see some "examples" just how good he might be for selling products

Very nice, Zopperoni. I like the Khaki background. It has a sort of combined Desert+Civ look to it.

Great banner, Zopperoni.
Now if we could show him wearing a t-shirt "My words are backed with chemical weapons" ...

The height restriction of a web banner would make it impossible to depict him with a readable version of the T-shirt, but here he his in full glory:

If you use the info minister you should have something about 'Poly's $1,000,000 turnover last year.

Brilliant, Zop!
Markos,
How come Zop's ad doesn't show up on the ads overview page ( http://apolyton.net/forums/misc.php?action=support)?
I saw it as a banner (while logged out), so it's definitely in roulation, but I didn't see it on the ads page (which is the best way for me to see the ads ).
Edit: just noticed the overview page is missing other ads too, at least a GalCiv one - what other kinds of cool ads am I missing out on?

it could be the regional advertisement thing. Americans get one set of ads and everyone else gets a different set IIRC.
