Did somebody say that the Spurs couldn't kill the Lakers? That they were too soft? Guess who looked soft in that fourth quarter? Oh, and Duncan looked just fine...

Well it went unappreciated and was buried for first few days, but NBA playoff has been picking up in excitement and so has this thread.

Interesting like watching a retarded kid try and play a pro. The East has a chance to win a game... maybe.

I said it, and I'm amazed I'm wrong. I guess the Lakers finally just ran out of gas, cause it sure wasn't San Antonio's brilliant play that won that series. They tried real hard to blow a huge lead in game 5 just like they always do vs. LA, but by some miracle Robert Horry missed. Whether it's Kings or Mavs I hope they wipe the floor with SA.

Dallas!!!
Hack-a-Bowen and a new freethrow record, 49 or 50!
How great is this... I freakin' hate San Antonio.

San Antonio should beat Dallas, even tho they lost this first game. The odds are against them, but i think they really are a slightly superior team and should win.

The team, I find it hard to like teams that prefer to play with their hands clasped around their throats.

true... they almost choked again tonight... but were able to pull away with the victory.
The spurs have shown they can beat Dallas good, where Dallas has only shown they can barely come back to beat the Spurs.... I'm fairly confident the Spurs are gonna walk away with the western conference title.

Kramerman: this wasn't a regular game, mind you, with the Dallas coach being sent off, and stuff. Also, didn't Dallas beat SA away on the first game?

I didn't see the game, but from what I've read, the refs decided it by effectively taking Nowitzki out of the game in the first quarter.

true.
and dallas did win away, by 3, mind you they set a free throw record of 49 for 50 tho.... freakish accuracy. If they depend on that for wins, then they can expect to lose. From what I've seen, SA is just a better all round team. Dallas could win the series, but they shouldnt.
