Military Units from villages
Is there a determining factor whether a unit from a village gets supported by a city or not?

I know if a village is in city radius it will most likely get supported by that city. Besides that it seems completely random to me. I've had units be supported by cities half way across a large continent. I've even had units supported by a city that was actually farther away then the nearest city.

BTW great site nice to see civ2 still kicking after all this time

general rule:if nearest city is yours=supported unit
nearest city foreign=non unit
