What did you do while 'poly was down?
I hung out at CGN for while and also at MZO (Master Zen Online), which was the unofficial refugee camp for the Civ3 community. In our boredom we started up a Succession Game, which should be good fun.
If I hadn't been at work I may well have done lots of fun social things .. or maybe not. I did go to the pub with four girls on Tuesday night, though. (naughty smily)
What's you story?

Instead of sitting on 'poly all night I watched some Champions League and drank too much beer. I was dead bored at work though - I posted a bit in the refugee camp, but it was all too confusing. And I visited MZO, but everyone was talking about civ

I got caught up on reading Red Mars for the Poly Sci-Fi Book Club discussion next month.
And I played some Princess Maker II.

Frequented CGN and the #apolyton channel. Nothing special actually.
Sidenote: smilies work now.

Hid under my bed
In fact, since my bed is a loft bed, I do that all the time.

Went on #apolyton, hung five at CGN, messed around a bit at IFX, messed around at http://www.eventis.tk
Watched Juventus duke it out in the champions league, played some Gran Turismo 3.
I wasn't affected at all, truth be told.

Did you see Ronnie's seven-minute 147? I missed it.

Six minutes and thirty seconds...it's easy to miss
You can find a low-quality stream of the 147 here
The 147 was great, but what I found utterly amazing was Alan McManus' incredible fluke on the brown.

A Dutchman watching snooker? Is there any sport you don't like Zopper?
Thanks for the links, btw.

I've been watching the Embassy since 1990. I was seven years old when Stephen Hendry won it then...
And there's a Dutch referee
There are sports that I don't like...curling, bowls, horse racing, athletics in general, most winter sports...and undoubtedly more...

Yes.......though it was no doubt poor consolation for being knocked out.
McManus's brown was awesome..........right up there with Ebdon's miscue/jump pair of flukes a couple of years back.

I posted a bit on CGN, tried to register at eventis.tk (it didn't work yet, Frozzy ) and posted at Civfanatics (why, oh why?)... and got a copy of Master of Orion that I haven't installed yet.

Yeah, I tried to register at eventis.tk too, but it gave me some kind of php script error and wouldn't let me complete the process.

Watched the hockey games, but then I already do that even when Apolyton is on.
So mostly just worked and studied.
